Can I just say.... I LOVE NEW YORK!!!! I finally got to go visit that awesome city. It's been on my #1 list of places to travel and I got to experience it with my favorite person in this whole world! I spent the week with Khanh and his sisters Suong and Trang, and John, Trang's boyfriend. It was so fun and drama free. Good food... good company... and great weather. It was so perfect. We did all the touristy stuff with the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty, Chinatown, Little Italy, Shopping in Soho, and even caught The Producers on Broadway. Here's some pics for you all to enjoy... Again... I HEART NEW YORK!

oh boy... so what have I been up to?

Well no point in going into full detail about every specific thing I've been doing. Basically when it all comes down to it, my life consists of work, gym, sleep, and when I have time, lots of poker and spending time with Khanh.

Things between me and him have been extremely good. I love that man so much. Can you believe it's already been 6 months? Pretty fast. I feel like I just met the guy. I swear we're soulmates or something, cause we're like the same person. Random fact: I found out we have the same lines on our palms. Wouldn't be a big deal, except for the fact that I don't know anyone else with a straight line across their palms. Usually the lines on people's palms break or stray upwards. Both him and I have straight lines that run across our palms on both hands. Pretty neat huh.

Anyway, he just recently fractured his ankle playing basketball. The poor guy can't do much but sit there and elevate his foot. He's such a big baby, but it's so endearing cause he's such a big guy. We just got back from Vegas too. We went with his younger sister, Suong, and older sister, Trang, and her boyfriend. Stayed at my Timeshare. It was so freaking fun. Had to cater to Khanh hand and foot, and wheel him around everywhere, but we had such a good time. Got the chance to catch Ka, the show by Cirque du Soleil at MGM Grand. What an awesome show. I think this one is my favorite so far. Anyway, for everyone who I haven't spoken to lately, I'm sorry I've been MIA. I miss everyone back home, and I hope you guys are all doing well. Love you guys!

Alright... so who's dying for an extreme update? yeah I know you've all been dying to see what I've been up to. Shit... it's been a crazy month. Everytime I feel like maybe I should update, I'm just too damn tired to. In fact... I'm this close to saying, "forget it... just take your nap." Anyway... to make a long story short, and to satisfy your cravings of my mundane daily life, here's an update.

So for the past month I've basically been doing nothing but work... go to the gym... sleep... and plan khanh's surprise birthday party. His birthday was yesterday, July 26. The party was this past Saturday, and it turned out perfect. The plan was to have a big picnic get together at Miles Square Park, this HUGE park with great gazebos and a lake and everything. I had planned this a month ahead of time. I somehow managed to call up all his friends, even some I've never met before, but I knew he would like to see since he hasn't seen some of them in a while. The turn out was wonderful... there were about 40-50 people at the party. We had a ton of food and had a great time. The surprise couldn't have played out any better.

I told him I was planning to take him to San Diego that day... spend some nice quality time together for his birthday. Well that morning, I had awaked at 6am to go find a spot at the park and prepare everything for the party. I ran into a couple problems, but in the end I was able to get things together. I had to go pick up the eggrolls from his restaurant cause his mom helped me pick them up. Khanh said he wasn't going to work that day, so I didn't think anything of it. Well of course when I got to the restaurant, he was there and I wasn't sure how to react. His mom handed me the eggrolls and he was like... what's that for? Well I told him his sister was having a picnic and had asked me to drop them off for her. I took forever, so I used his sister as a scapegoat and said she didn't pick up and I couldn't find her. He was sooo pissed! Even worse... I needed to somehow drag him back to the park to surprise him, so i told him his sister left something at home and I needed to go get it for her. He went ballistic! Couldn't believe how inconsiderate she was. I almost felt bad cause he was so upset. Once we finally got to the park, he knew right away that something was up, and he was soooo surprised. His sis was in on it the whole time, so he felt so bad and apologized profusely. It was so cute! Totally perfect. Anyway... that was that.

Yesterday we were able to get dressed up and I took him to this super expensive steak restaurant called Turners New Zealand. The food there was the bomb. Alright.... I think I'm done cause I'm tired and I need a nap now. Enjoy some of the pics!
